Professor Xia Enlan 1955 graduated from Northwest Medical College and has been engaged in clinical, teaching and scientific research in obstetrics and gynecology for 52 years. He is currently a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Capital Medical University, a master tutor, the director of hysteroscopy center of Fuxing Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, a visiting professor of obstetrics and gynecology at An Medical University, an honorary professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Henan Medical University, the director of Beijing International Hysteroscopy Training Center, a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopic Doctors, and a lifelong member of the International Gynecologic Endoscopy Association, a member of the editorial boards of China Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, China Journal of Practical Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Foreign Medicine: Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has published 178 papers, edited gynecological endoscopy, hysteroscopy and atlas, translated colposcopy and atlas, participated in the compilation of book 17, and won 22 scientific and technological progress awards from the Ministry of Health, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Beijing Municipal Health Bureau and Xicheng District Government. The clinical application and basic research of hysteroscopy won the second prize of national scientific and technological progress in 2004.
From 65438 to 2007, more than 20,000 people were diagnosed by hysteroscopy, more than 8,000 by hysteroscopy, more than 3,000 by laparoscopy, and more than 1000 by hysteroscopy. Hysteroscopy is the international leader, and laparoscopy is the domestic advanced level. Xia Enlan was elected as the director of the International Society of Gynecological Endoscopy in 2002. In 2000, Xia Enlan became the deputy head of Gynecological Endoscopy Group of Chinese Medical Association.
At home and abroad, hysteroscopy combined with B-ultrasound was used for the first time to diagnose uterine cavity and pelvic lesions. It was the first time to create a five-step method of endometrial resection with sheath and submucosal myomectomy with cutting, clamping, twisting, pulling and sending. It standardized the cutting methods of different types of submucosal myoma, pioneered the endometrial functional layer resection, pioneered the standard operation of B-ultrasound or laparoscopic-guided hysterectomy, and carried out the "hysteroscopy" for the first time at home and abroad. Carry out "study on endometrial pretreatment by mifepristone negative pressure suction"; "Effect of Endometriectomy on Hemodynamics of Uterine and Ovarian Arteries and Ovarian Function"; Clinical application of balloon compression hemostasis. It is the first in China to carry out the combined application of hysteroscopy and laparoscopy and the safety study of 5% glucose perfusion. Published hysteroscopic papers 178, and 5 papers were included in SCI.

15 Beijing-International Symposium on Laparoscopy, attended by more than 2,000 students. 48 famous international and overseas gynecologic endoscopists Maurice Bruhat and Harry Reich were invited to give lectures and demonstrate their operation. Six foreigners, including QL Li, were hired as visiting professors at Capital Medical University.
Twenty-two hand-held classes on hysteroscopy and laparoscopy were held, with more than 2,000 students. More than 800 clinicians have been trained, including doctors from Australia, Britain, Hong Kong, Macau and Malaysia.
