Ensure sufficient power, use linear power supply as far as possible, and separate power supply for door lock and controller. The power supply should be installed as close as possible to electrical equipment to avoid interference and transmission loss.

Step 2 connect wires

It is divided into power line, communication line and signal line. Pay attention to the separation of strong and weak current when wiring, and the distance between the two tubes should be more than 20cm.

Power cord: the wire diameter is thick enough, and there are many wires.

Signal line and communication line: Five types of shielded twisted pair are used. Among them, the 485 bus must be connected by a pair of twisted pairs. It is recommended to use 4*0.5 four-core shielded wire when purchasing wires.

Matters needing attention

(1), the shielded wire shall not be used as the connecting wire for 0V voltage (power ground).

(2) Each shielding loop can only have one grounding terminal.

(3) When the shielded circuit cannot be grounded, the shielded wire can be connected to another shielded circuit of the network.

(4) The signals of each module must be connected together.

(5) If there is a breakpoint in the middle of the line, weld the breakpoint with a soldering iron and insulate it.

(6), don't put the network cable and AC power supply together.

(7) If the network connection exceeds 1000m, a repeater should be added. It can be extended after the repeater1000 m.

Location selection

(1) card reader: Do not install it on a metal object, and the distance between two card readers should not be less than 30cm. It is best to supply power through the controller. If the power supply of the card reader comes from the outside alone, please use a linear regulated power supply (transformer) to supply power to the card reader, and the DC negative electrode cannot be connected to the AC grounding terminal.

(2) Network card: The connection with the controller is hand in hand.

(3) Controller: without isolation, it is recommended to use the same power supply.

(4) Lock: When installing a magnetic lock, the lock body and the relay board must be closely combined, otherwise the suction is insufficient. Plug lock, if it is necessary to open the jack when installing the plug lock, pay attention to that the gap must be large enough and the depth must be deep enough for the locking tongue to be completely inserted. The locking bolt is not inserted completely, and the locking bolt jumps all the time after locking the door, or the working current is always very large, and the lock body heats up.

Second, the common faults and maintenance methods of access control system

1, valid card cannot open the door.

1. Check whether the electric lock is normal. Check the power supply or replace the electric lock.

2. Whether the lock tongue and lock are mechanical, repair mechanical failure or replace parts.

3. Check the indicator light on the control panel, and check whether the communication between the control panel and the module is normal, so as to troubleshoot.

4. Check whether the communication between the card reader and the module is normal, so as to troubleshoot.

5. Is the information day closing command set to adjust the opening time through software?

6. Does the operator initialize the access control system or reauthorize other commands through software?

2. Access control communication is blocked

1. Check whether the serial port is set incorrectly (determine the serial port used).

2. Check the access control communication bus for short circuit or open circuit (excluding short circuit and open circuit of communication lines).

3. Check whether communication chip 75 184 of RS485 communication card is damaged (replace communication chip 75 148).
