Yun Guan, the abbot of Tiantai National Temple, was elected as the executive director of the new Chinese Buddhist Association.
From June 5438 to February 65438, 2020, the 10th National Congress of the Chinese Buddhist Association was successfully held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, which was the first time that the Chinese Buddhist Association held a national congress outside Beijing since its establishment.
Twenty-three representatives of Zhejiang delegation and 1 invited representatives attended the event. In the end, the honorary president of our Association, Master Daoci, the abbot of Fusaiji in Putuo Mountain, Master Yizang, the abbot of Zisheng Temple in Xuedou Mountain, was elected as the vice-president of the 10th Council of the Chinese Buddhist Association, while Master Guangquan, the vice-president of our Association and the abbot of Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou, was elected as the deputy secretary-general and director of the Education Committee, and seven wizards in our province (Daoci, Yizang, Guangquan, Yun Guan, Hang Wei, Meiji and Yue Zhen) were appointed as executive directors.
