Weihai Ficus carica is a specialty of Weihai City, Shandong Province, and a landmark product of chinese national geography.
Weihai has abundant sunshine, moderate precipitation, long frost-free period and suitable temperature difference between day and night. What is particularly unique is that the autumn temperature in Weihai drops slowly, and the characteristics of "autumn tiger" are obvious, which meets the demand of figs for higher environmental temperature. In the growing season, chilling injury is not serious, which leads to a very low proportion of fruit flavor alienation. This is the best place for fig cultivation.

Second, Rongcheng peanuts
Rongcheng peanut is a specialty of Rongcheng City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, and a national geographical indication agricultural product.
Rongcheng city is located at the easternmost tip of Jiaodong hilly area, surrounded by the sea on three sides, and belongs to the continental monsoon humid climate zone in warm temperate zone. Obviously regulated by the ocean, the maritime climate features prominently. It has four distinct seasons and mild climate, and is suitable for planting peanuts.
Rongcheng peanut varieties are traditional peanut varieties such as Hua 17 and 10. After decades of careful cultivation by farmers in Rongcheng, coupled with the special soil and climate conditions in Rongcheng, the fruits are white, with obvious shrinkage, clear network, thin shell and full seeds, and most of them are Shuang Ren.
On April 5th, 20 13, the former Ministry of Agriculture of People's Republic of China (PRC) (China) officially approved the registration and protection of geographical indications of agricultural products for "Rongcheng Peanut".
Third, Wendeng Apple
Wendeng Apple, a special product in Wendeng District, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is a geographical indication of national agricultural products.
Wendeng apple planting has a long history. According to historical records, in the late Qing Dynasty, there were sporadic planting in front of and behind farm houses and fields. In the early years of the Republic of China, villagers named Tan from Dongtanjiakou introduced apple seedlings from Fuling, Yantai, and Wendeng began to have a small apple orchard.
Wendeng Mountain is hilly, with mild climate and loose soil, which is suitable for apple growth. The abundant sunshine in summer and autumn and the large temperature difference between day and night are beneficial to the accumulation and coloring of fruit sugar, thus forming many advantages of Wendeng apple, such as good color, shape, taste and quality, sour, sweet, fragrant and crisp.
The Ministry of Agriculture of People's Republic of China (PRC) approved the registration and protection of geographical indications of agricultural products of Wendeng Apple on February 24, 20 10.
