Chengzhulou is the oldest and oldest teahouse in Guangzhou, located in Nanhua Middle Road, Haizhu District, next to Shuzhu Bridge. Chengzhulou joined the Tea House Trade Association before liberation, and a camphor wood plaque engraved with "Chengzhulou" was once stored at the guild site on the paddle road. The plaque was signed by the Qianlong Department of the Qing Dynasty. By the time the building 1985 was destroyed by fire, the Zhu Cheng Building had a history of more than 240 years. Chengzhulou was built in Qing Dynasty, named "Zhuchengting", which is an unremarkable simple bungalow. It was only during the Xianfeng period that it was converted into a two-story wooden teahouse. At the beginning of the business, the museum was owned by Wu Ziyuan, one of the five major families in Guangzhou at that time (Pan, Lu, Wu, Ye and Zhou), and it was the reception place of the Wu family. When the Wu family declined, the museum was transferred to the Wu family and renamed as "Zhu Cheng Bakery", and then it also operated the teahouse industry. Then it changed hands. During the Guangxu period, the museum was owned by Liang Fuhe Hall, a family, and the owner was Liang. The development of architecture in Zhu Cheng started from this period.

Zhu Cheng Building is located in a very advantageous geographical condition. In the Qing Dynasty, there were three markets in Guangzhou, Henan Province (south bank of Guangzhou Pearl River), namely Furen City, Shuzhu City and Qixing City. The second generation of Liang will continue the heroic spirit of his ancestors and make Chengzhu Building more colorful. They hired famous teachers, advertised and decorated the floor. In order to prevent counterfeiting, Chengzhulou "Xiaofeng Cake" was also approved for trademark registration in the third year of the Republic of China, which guaranteed the commercial patent. Since then, the number of employees employed by Chengzhulou has increased from 20 to more than 50.

Chengzhulou is famous for Xiaofengbing. There are several different versions circulating. Xiaofeng is Wu Ziyuan's handmaid, from Shunde. One day, Wu Ziyuan received a foreign guest and happened to be absent from the pastry chef. Xiaofeng was in a hurry and took out the dry cakes that she usually kept privately to satisfy her hunger. Unexpectedly, the guests were full of praise after eating it, and later wrote a letter of praise, never forgetting. In fact, Xiaofeng just put away the leftovers of the usual banquet guests, added some plum vegetables and pressed them into cakes, and then asked the pastry chef to help him dry them. I didn't expect this kind of cake to be sweet, crisp, oily and clean, and very delicious. Wu Ziyuan was inspired by the unexpected discovery, so he ordered his master to follow suit and named the cake "Xiaofeng Cake". Another way of saying it is that "Xiaofeng cake" was handed down by Liang Jia, and it was named "Xiaofeng" because it looked like a chicken. Later, when Cheng Zhulou decided to use "chicken" as the trademark of "Xiaofeng cake", it coincided with the folk custom of calling "chicken" phoenix. Regardless of the origin of Xiaofeng cake, it is always a great invention of "Cheng Zhulou".
