Deng was one of the leftist leaders of the Kuomintang, a brave soldier of China's democratic revolution, a famous revolutionary, an outstanding strategist and politician, the founder of China Agricultural Workers' Party, and a close comrade-in-arms of China. He is a loyal follower of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and a successor to the revolutionary cause, a defender of the Three People's Principles, a heroic fighter against imperialism, feudalism, bureaucracy and comprador bourgeoisie, and a right-hand man of Dr. Sun Yat-sen.

During the Great Revolution, he participated in the Northern Expedition and served as the director of the General Political Department of the National Revolutionary Army. 1927 Deng opposed Chiang Kai-shek's betrayal of the revolution and military dictatorship and insisted that the National Government move its capital to Wuhan. He used to be the Minister of Farmers Department of Wuhan Central Party Department and a member of the Military Commission.
