Liu Yuxi and Liu Zongyuan were friendly and called "Liu Liu", and Bai Juyi sang in chorus and called "Bai Liu". Gong once imitated folk songs and wrote poems such as Zhi Zhu Ci, Liuzhi Ci and Tian Ge. He is also the author of collected works such as Tian Lun. Liu Yuxi's inscription and postscript are taken from the paintings of Shangguan Zhou in Qing Dynasty, and the eight-year engraving of Laughing at the Evening Hall was made by Gan Long. Liu Yuxi's Suzhou stone statue, carved in 1827 (the seventh year of Qing Daoguang), was painted by Qing Kong, praised by the stone and carved by Tan Songpo, and is one of the "Five Hundred Sages Statues of Canglang Pavilion".
