The book "Exploring China Folk Doctors" is adapted from a series of TV documentaries of the same name broadcast by CCTV's "Yang Guang Health" channel, including documentary follow-up interviews and reports of 26 characters. The purpose is to introduce the real life and work of folk doctors in China, which has certain historical value and practical reference significance.

Wang Qing, born in February, 1952, graduated from the news editing department of Beijing Broadcasting Institute. He once served as the news anchor of Anhui TV Station in 1979- 1993 and CCTV's Observation and Thinking in 1994.
