Li Chengwan (Korean:? , 65438+March 26th, 0875-65438+July 19, 0965), formerly known as Li Chenglong, was the first, first to third president of South Korea. 1May 1948 10, South Korea independently elected Li Chengwan as President. 1960 March 15 the president's attempt to be re-elected for the fourth time was resolutely opposed by the Korean people and the opposition party. Thousands of people held a demonstration in Mashan, and then a large-scale demonstration against Li Chengwan's dictatorship swept through South Korea. Angry people dragged Li Chengwan's head with ropes to demonstrate, and Li Chengwan ordered a crackdown. On April 19, angry Seoul citizens surrounded the National Assembly and radio stations, burned down the headquarters of the Liberal Party in Li Chengwan, and launched a life-and-death struggle with the military police. Li Chengwan was finally forced to step down on April 27th. Leave Seoul for Hawaii on May 29th. 1965 died in July 19.
