By 202 1, there are 70 third-tier cities. They are: Daqing, Anshan, Hohhot, Langfang, Baoding, Handan, Xingtai, Tangshan, Cangzhou, Qinhuangdao, Heze, Dezhou, Zibo, Jining, Weihai, Xinxiang, Zhumadian, Xinyang, Shangqiu, Nanyang, Zhoukou, Luoyang, Xianyang, Yinchuan and Urumqi. Fuyang, Chuzhou, Lianyungang, Yangzhou, Taizhou, Yancheng, Suqian, Huai 'an, Zhenjiang, Zhoushan, Lishui, Huzhou, Jiujiang, Ganzhou, Yichun, Shangrao, Hengyang, Yueyang, Zhuzhou, Sanming, Zhangzhou, Ningde, Putian, Chaozhou, Shantou and Qingyuan.

1. Daqing City: Located in the northeast of China and southwest of Heilongjiang, it is a regional central city and a third-tier city of Harbin-Changzhou urban agglomeration, and is known as "the city of green oil, the city of natural lakes and the hometown of hot springs in the north".

2. Anshan City: Located in the northeast of China, the middle of Liaoning Province, the middle of Liaodong Peninsula and the hinterland of Bohai Economic Zone, it is an important fulcrum of Shenyang-Dalian Gold Economic Belt and has the reputation of "Steel Capital of the Republic" and "Cradle of China Iron and Steel Industry".

3. Hohhot: Located in North China, the northern frontier and Eurasia, it is an important bridge connecting the Yellow River Economic Belt, the Eurasian Continental Bridge and the Bohai Economic Zone.

4. Langfang City: Located in the east of central Hebei Province, bordering Beijing in the north, Tianjin in the east, Cangzhou in the south and Baoding in the west, it is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Haihe River basin and is known as the "lower tip of Jiujiang".

Baoding City: Located in the middle of Hebei Province, at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, it is the central city of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and part of China (Hebei) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
