There are two main job resume formats:

General type:

Suitable for new job seekers. Mainly in chronological order. List the contents of "education" and "work experience" in turn, and don't leave them out. Most of the resumes of graduates applying for jobs are general. If there is no "work experience", this part can be changed to "internship experience". The scope of application of the general resume is not limited by the position applied for. The disadvantage is that it is not targeted.

Function type:

Suitable for job seekers with rich industry/professional experience. At the beginning of your resume, indicate your job objectives. Resumes emphasize skills, abilities and qualifications that can meet the needs of the target employer. The positioning of resume content should be as close as possible to the job requirements. Resume content focuses on job performance, focusing on job objectives. Generally, the column of "work performance" is added to "work experience" to explain in detail the advantages of the position, such as which projects you have participated in/led, which positions you have held, which companies/units you have cooperated with, which problems you have solved, which achievements you have achieved and which awards you have won.

Functional resume is highly targeted, which is a resume format used by job seekers with rich experience in a certain industry when applying for familiar jobs. Functional resume has limited use and cannot be used for job hunting in other industries/positions. If a job seeker has been engaged in a variety of occupations, the "work experience" part can also be classified according to the occupational category he is engaged in, rather than simply in chronological order. This is the so-called classified/functional resume.
