Sammul Chan, male, born in May, 1968, from fuding city, Fujian Province, is a doctor of engineering, professor and doctoral supervisor. Doctor graduated from the State Key Laboratory of Bioreactor Engineering of East China University of Science and Technology, majoring in bioengineering. He is currently the director of the Institute of Natural Products and Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Fuzhou University and the director of the Experimental Center of the School of Biological Sciences and Engineering of Fuzhou University. 1998 was selected as the backbone teacher of the "Hundred Talents Project" of Fuzhou University, and in 2007, it was selected as the outstanding talents of Fujian universities in the new century. Research interests: natural products and traditional Chinese medicine, biomedicine, forest chemicals, storage and processing of agricultural products, food chemicals and fermentation engineering.
