In 2022, the Changdu project of China Railway Third Bureau started, and Hao Gang was appointed as the project manager. The Jiujiang-Nanchang section of the newly-built Beijing-Hong Kong high-speed railway is located in the north of Jiangxi Province. It starts from Chaisang District of Jiujiang City in the north and reaches Nanchang County in the south. It passes through Yongxiu County, gongqingcheng city, Lushan City, Nanchang New District, Qingshan Lake District and High-tech Zone. It is the key section of the Beijing-Hong Kong (Taiwan) passage in the main channel of the eight vertical and eight horizontal high-speed railway in the National Medium-and Long-term Railway Network Planning, and it is also an integral part of the Yin Fu comprehensive transportation corridor in the national comprehensive transportation corridor of ten vertical and ten horizontal.
