Academic and scientific research projects and achievements
He presided over 4 national natural science foundations, 3 provincial and ministerial projects, and 1 horizontal projects. It mainly studies systematic entomology, evolutionary entomology and integrated pest management. Editor-in-chief published monograph 1 department, participated in editing 6 monographs and published 40 academic papers.
1. A taxonomic study on the scale family of Lepidoptera in China: published many papers and monograph "Scale Family of China".
2. Research on classification and biogeography of Diptera: He presided over two national natural science funds, mainly conducting research on classification, biology, cell biology, embryology and biodiversity of Diptera.
3. Study on species differentiation mechanism of peach fruit borer complex: presided over the completion of two national natural science funds. It is found that the peach fruit borer is a complex undergoing species differentiation. Under the pressure of host plant selection, by changing the critical photoperiod of larvae entering diapause and adjusting the starting temperature and effective accumulated temperature of post-diapause development, the life history of insects is synchronized with the host phenology, which leads to seasonal isolation of insect reproductive time in different host plants, reducing gene exchange and eventually leading to species differentiation in the same domain.
4. Integrated pest control: The integrated pest control of pomegranate is mainly studied, which is a provincial key project 1 and a cross project of Lintong District 65438. By planting attractive plants and using attractive nuclei, the pollution-free control of pomegranate diseases and insect pests was realized.
