I. Company Profile
The company directly manages 27 units, including 14 power supply enterprises directly under the prefecture (city) level, holding 1 hydropower generation enterprises and 12 construction, maintenance, scientific research, design and training units, managing 70 county-level rural power enterprises, and hosting agricultural reclamation and some forest industry power supply enterprises. The company has 33 127 employees and 400 retirees. There are 19480 persons in charge of rural power enterprises in agricultural reclamation and forest areas, and 7,000 persons in charge of power supply enterprises.
By the end of 2008, there were 8 500 kV substations in Heilongjiang Power Grid, with an operating capacity of 8.805 KVA；; 79 220kV substations with operating capacity of15577kVA; 22 500 kV lines with a total length of 3,653.9 kilometers; 220kV lines 196, with a total length of 9786.8km ... are connected to the Northeast main network through four 500kV lines and four 220kV lines.
By the end of 2008, there were 207 grid-connected power plants in Heilongjiang Province, with a total installed capacity of 1.8 1.8 million kilowatts.
