Information about Zhuangzi and Confucius
Zhuangzi (about 369- 286 BC), a famous Zhou native during the Warring States Period, was born in Meng (one was in the northeast of Shangqiu County, Henan Province, and the other was in Mengcheng County, Anhui Province). He is the representative of Taoist school in the Warring States period after Laozi. At the same time, he is also an excellent writer and philosopher. He expounded the essence of Taoism with his masterpiece Zhuangzi (also known as South China Classic), and developed Taoism, making it a philosophical school with far-reaching influence on later generations.
