Brief introduction of Canglang District
Canglang District, the former jurisdiction of Suzhou, is located in the south-central part of Suzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in China. It is adjacent to Suzhou Singapore Industrial Park in the east and Suzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone in the west. It is named after Canglang Pavilion, a famous garden in the Song Dynasty. The whole area is nearly 30 square kilometers, with a permanent population of 396,500 (20 1 1 year). Canglang District governs six streets: Shuangta Street, Nanmen Street, Xujiang Street, Wumenqiao Street, Fengmen Street and Xinyou Street.
