On September 27th, a "Hulk" train passed the Lishui (Suichang Section) Bridge of the Qu-Ning Railway in Zhejiang. On the same day, Zhejiang Quzhou-Fujian Ningde Railway was opened for operation;

The main line of the line is 379 kilometers long. The opening of this line has ended the history that eight counties and cities in Zhejiang and Fujian provinces have no access to railways, which is of great significance to fill the gap in the regional road network and promote the economic development of mountainous areas along the line.

Qu-Ning Railway starts from Quzhou City and ends in Ningde City, Fujian Province, passing Suichang, Songyang, Longquan and Qingyuan. It is planned to be put into operation at the end of September. It is a national key construction project and a provincial key project. The line connects Shanghai-Kunming and Jiujingqu railways in the north and coastal railways in the south. When completed, it will fill the gap in the railway network in southwest Zhejiang.

"After it is completed and opened to traffic, it may only take 3 hours from Qingyuan to Hangzhou." Wang, secretary of the Party branch of Suining Project of China Railway Third Bureau, said that after the opening of Suining Railway, the travel time of people in southwest Zhejiang will be greatly shortened.
