From 65438 to 0934, the base areas of Hubei, Henan and Anhui were surrounded by the enemy, the Soviet area was shrinking, and the Red Army was in an increasingly difficult situation. The central government decided to transfer the Red 25 Army and establish a new base area for development. 1In June, 934, the CPC Central Committee and the Central Military Commission sent Cheng from Ruijin, the capital of Hongdu, to work in the Hubei, Henan and Anhui base areas. After arriving in September, Cheng conveyed the decision of the Central Committee and the instructions of the Vice Chairman. On June 1 1 1, the Hubei, Henan and Anhui Provincial Committee held the 14th Standing Committee in Huashanzhai, Guangshan County, Henan Province. Xu Baoshan, secretary of the provincial party committee, Wu Huanxian, deputy secretary of the provincial party committee, and Xu Haidong, commander of the 25th Red Army, attended the meeting. The provincial party committee decided that the Red 25 Army would implement a strategic shift, with Cheng as commander and political commissar, Xu Haidong as deputy commander, Dai as chief of staff and director of the political department, and the provincial party committee moved with the army, leaving the Red 28 Army to persist in the struggle in the base areas.
Long March story
The Red Fifteen Army then set off for the Long March. In more than 20 days, the Red 25 Army marched thousands of miles, with less than 3,000 troops, breaking the encirclement of its own enemies, fighting almost every day, and stubbornly opening the westward passage, which not only preserved the effective strength of the Red Army, exercised and improved the combat effectiveness of the troops, but also mobilized some enemy troops to "encircle" the revolutionary base areas in Hubei, Henan and Anhui, effectively supporting the Red 28 Army's struggle to adhere to the revolutionary base areas in Hubei, Henan and Anhui, and alleviating Sichuan.
Briefing session; exhibition
The border region of Hubei, Henan and Shaanxi is located at the junction of Hubei, Henan and Shaanxi provinces, starting from the northern foot of Qinling Mountains in the north and reaching Hanshui River in the south, including Luonan (now Luonan), Lantian, Shangxian, Shangnan, Yang Shan, Zhen 'an, Zhashui, Yunyang (now Xunyang), Ningshan, Foping and Yangxian in the northwest of Hubei. Here, the peaks are undulating, the cliffs are steep, and the terrain is dangerous, which is convenient for guerrilla warfare. Since ancient times, it has been a strategic place for independent rule by military strategists. The oppression and exploitation of the people by the local feudal forces and the reactionary government is extremely cruel. Most of the land and forests are in the hands of landlords, and there are dozens of kinds of exorbitant taxes. Soldiers and bandits have suffered from disasters year after year, and the people have a strong resistance and a good revolutionary foundation. The party organization was founded in April 1927, and the Wei (south) Hua (county) uprising troops were active in Luonan area of Lantian in May 1928. /kloc-in the winter of 0/932, the Red Fourth Army and the Red Third Army successively crossed the border. 1In May 933, the Red Army in northern Shaanxi also moved south. Therefore, the Party and the Red Army have exerted extensive influence in this area. When the Red 25 Army arrived, although the local Party organizations had been destroyed, the spontaneous struggle of the masses against donation and grain was still going on. At the same time, Yang Hucheng, the leader of the 17th Route Army in Shaanxi, had a deep contradiction with Chiang Kai-shek. At that time, I was busy attacking the Shaanxi-Gansu Red Army in the north, rejecting the Sichuan-Shaanxi Red Fourth Army in the south, and defending Chiang Kai-shek's own troops in the west, so I couldn't take care of southern Shaanxi for a while. All these provide favorable conditions for the Red 25 Army to create new base areas.
