Liu Yang was born in 19781October 6, enlisted in August 1997, joined China in May 20001year, and was selected as the second batch of astronauts in China in May 20 10. On June 20 12, she carried out the Shenzhou-9 manned mission and became the first female astronaut in China to go into space.

From June 20/KLOC-0 to June 29/KLOC-0, Liu Yang was mainly responsible for monitoring and supporting manual rendezvous and docking, and she also undertook a number of scientific experiments. As the first female astronaut in China, Liu Yang has to overcome more difficulties than a male astronaut. Liu Yang gets up early every day and is always the first to come to the training room of environmental control and life insurance, and actively participates in training to ensure that he can finish his work in space.

20 12 On June 29th, the Shenzhou-9 return module with astronauts Jing Haipeng and Liu Wang and Liu Yang, the first female astronaut in China, landed successfully.

On June 4th, 2022, the General Command of China Manned Space Engineering decided that three astronauts, Liu Yang and Cai, would carry out the Shenzhou XIV manned mission, with Chen Dong as the commander. On June 5, 2022, the Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft was launched in Jiuquan and then docked. Astronauts, Liu Yang and Cai entered the Tianhe core cabin.

On February 4th, 2022, the return capsule of Shenzhou XIV manned spacecraft landed successfully at Dongfeng landing site, and the astronauts, Liu Yang and Cai returned smoothly.

During the six months in orbit, the three astronauts of Shenzhou 14 successively carried out three extravehicular activities, completed the installation and debugging of equipment inside and outside the space station and facilities related to space application tasks, and carried out a series of space science experiments and technical experiments. In orbit, two space station cabins, 1 manned spacecraft and 1 cargo spacecraft were welcomed.

Cooperate with the ground to complete the assembly and construction of the basic configuration of the Chinese space station "T", complete the on-orbit handover with the Shenzhou 15 astronaut for the first time, and witness many historical moments such as the world record of the fastest rendezvous and docking between the cargo spacecraft and the space station.
