Chen Suzhen, the "Queen of Henan Opera", is the first generation of Hunan opera performers. She pushed the art of Xiangfu tune to the peak. Since then, on the stage of Henan Opera, dancing sleeves and euphemistic jade sounds have touched and attracted countless opera fans.
Wu Bibo was the first official disciple of Chen Suzhen after the founding of the People's Republic of China.
"Look at Wu Bibo, you can live in your 90 s."
In the 1950s, there were two words circulating among Zhengzhou opera fans: "Look at Wu Bibo, you can live in your 90s!" "Look at Wu Bibo's" Sweet Sack ",don't be angry." Wu Bibo's artistic charm can be seen.
This charm is inseparable from the example of Master Chen Suzhen.
From 65438 to 0949, Chen Suzhen was invited to Kaifeng to perform Ling Yun Zhi and leper girl. Wu Bibo, 16, played a small role in these plays. Chen Suzhen was deeply impressed by her cleverness, so she took her to Zhengzhou. Subsequently, Wu Bibo formally worshipped Chen Suzhen as his teacher.
Authentic singing, much like its teacher. Since then, a "Little Chen Suzhen" has appeared on the stage of Henan Opera.
"Art is not amazing and never dies."
This is the motto of Chen Suzhen, founder of Chenmen, Henan Opera.
With a loud voice, Wu Bibo fondly recalled the master's artistic life: from 65438 to 0925, 8-year-old Chen Suzhen took Sun Jiande, the inheritor of auspicious symbols, as his teacher. 1934, when she performed "Anti-Chang 'an" in Kaifeng, she boldly used the adagio pentatonic scale that no one dared to sing, and won a full house applause. After that, he collaborated with Fan, a reformer of Henan Opera, and created seven new dramas, including Ling, A Fierce Wind and Sanfuxiu. She also drew nutrition from Peking Opera and created unique stunts such as sleeves, fans, braids and costumes, which raised the art of Henan Opera to a new level. Chen Suzhen is therefore called "the Queen of Henan Opera" and "the King of Bangzi".
Chen Suzhen received many disciples in his life. Guan Lingfeng, Yuan Xiurong, Niu and Zhao Yinqiu inherited Chen Men's artistic style from different aspects.
To Wu Bibo's regret, the only time I really spent with the master in my life was those three years. From then on, sometimes we lived far apart, sometimes we met briefly, but we failed to fully appreciate the artistic charm of the master. Only the phrase "art is not amazing and never dies" was deeply imprinted in her mind.
Be a fruitful teacher
On the evening of March 15 this year, in order to commemorate the 90th anniversary of birth, the "Xiangfu Tiaomen Artists' Ticket Friends Concert" hosted by Zhengzhou Xiangfu Tiaomen Drama Club was held in the provincial capital, and Pai Cheng's classic plays such as Picking Jade Bracelets, Liu Ji and Sanshang Sedan were brilliantly staged, which aroused strong repercussions among opera fans.
Wu Bibo made every effort to prepare for the performance. First, she took out her deposit of 20 thousand yuan, and then she ran around. With the help of disciple Yang Chunhua and other descendants of Chenmen, she raised 80,000 yuan in donations.
Wu Bibo lamented that Master had left too few audio-visual materials. For a long time, she couldn't sleep at night, trying to remember her teacher's smiles and gestures when she was a child. She wants to restore these and leave them to future generations.
In 2002, at the initiative of Wu Bibo, Zhengzhou Xiangfu Quju Society was established. The drama club has been committed to sorting out traditional plays and inheriting the art of Chenmen.
Wu Bibo is busy organizing fans, rehearsing plays regularly and promoting Pai Cheng art to the public. Her disciple Tian Min and others shoulder the heavy responsibility of professional performance.
In the most conspicuous position in the living room of the elderly, there is a photo taken by her and her teacher Chen Suzhen at 1959.
She said: As long as I live, I will do something to promote the art of Chen Men.

Chen Men and Wu Bibo, a famous Henan Opera performer, passed away at 0: 05 on February 5, 20 13 at the age of 8 1. The farewell ceremony of the remains will be held at 8: 30am on February 7th, 65438 in Zhengzhou Funeral Home. I wish her old man a better life there.
