Zhang Mingyu, 1962 was born in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, known as Shi. He studied landscape painting with his teacher in his early years, and worked hard for more than 30 years to create his own schema.

At present, he is a national first-class artist, vice president of Shanghai Scholars Painting and Calligraphy Institute, painter of China Institute of Traditional Chinese Painting, painter of Gansu Institute of Traditional Chinese Painting, and collector of ancient furniture in Ming and Qing Dynasties. His works have participated in major national art exhibitions for many times, and have been shown and broadcast on the painting and calligraphy channel of CCTV.
