1955 was admitted to the literature department of Peking University, and graduated from 1960.
1963 graduated from the Chinese Department of Peking University with a major in classical literature, and then stayed on as a teacher.
From 65438 to 0983, he was transferred to the Institute of Literature of China Academy of Social Sciences. Now he is a researcher, professor and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Literature, Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
Research direction: Tang Dynasty literature and ancient books arrangement.

From 1992 to 1998, he has been engaged in the work of "adding notes to all Tang poems" The book is about 6,543,800 words, and will be published by Culture and Art Publishing House in 2000. Editor-in-chief Chen, executive deputy editors Chen Tiemin and Peng Qingsheng, and deputy editors Liu, Yang Chunqiu. Chen Tiemin wrote about 500,000 words and reviewed about 8 million words before and after (all revised one by one). As Mr. Eason Chan was unable to work due to his long illness, Chen Tiemin actually assumed the task of editor-in-chief.
In the next year or two, I plan to write several research papers on Tang poetry and prepare to engage in new research.
