1984 graduated from Shenyang Conservatory of Music. At the age of seven, he learned to play erhu. At the age of ten, he was able to play a variety of musical instruments skillfully, showing a high musical talent. During his college years, Lu Wei composed and conducted deeply. After the debut song "Liu from my classmate" came out, it won unanimous praise from the teachers and students of the whole school, and at the same time strengthened his determination to take the road of music creation all his life. Lu Wei's songs are deeply loved by music lovers, and his works have won many awards in song creation competitions held by the state, provinces and cities.

In 1990s, famous singers such as Zhang Ye, Jiang Tao, Lin Ping, Liu Haibo and Ceng Jing all sang his works. Colleagues praised Lu Wei's songs for their sincerity, beauty, fluency and strong national characteristics. At the same time, Lu Wei has also participated in the general planning, song creation and music production of many large-scale literary evenings.

From 2002 to 2007, he worked as a music creator in the literature and art department of Liaoning TV Station and as a music editor in various literature and art columns. Since 2006, Mr. Lu Wei has devoted all his energy and time to music creation, only doing fine works and carefully building his own music studio. He created a number of representative music works, including The Moon is Beautiful, Man struggles upwards, The Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, Stories in Nursery Rhymes, China is so nice, Your Home, The Moon in the Mine, etc.

In recent years, Lv Wei has produced and planned solo albums for famous singers, Song professors, and young teachers from conservatories of music, and has carefully composed more than a dozen music works for them.

Since graduating from university in 1984, Lv Wei has composed more than 1,000 music works and theme songs for large-scale dramas, operas, musicals and large-scale activity TV programs.
