According to Baidu Encyclopedia, China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. (central enterprise) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, a fortune 500 enterprise in the world. Its predecessor was an enterprise directly under the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, which was founded in 1952, 1966 and reorganized into an infrastructure engineering unit according to the orders of the Central Military Commission and the State Council, and 1983 was reorganized into a current enterprise.

China Construction Eighth Bureau has successively undertaken a large number of influential construction projects, such as Dalian Ocean Building, Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center, permanent meeting place of ASEAN Forum 10+ 1, China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Jiuquan Satellite Launch Base rocket vertical assembly test workshop project, Guangzhou New Baiyun International Airport Terminal, Nanjing Olympic Sports Center Stadium project, etc., which won the first prize of national scientific and technological progress.
