Introduction of Offshore Oil 98 1 Deepwater Semi-submersible Drilling Platform
Offshore Oil 98 1 deepwater semi-submersible drilling platform, referred to as "Offshore Oil 98 1", started construction on April 28th, 2008. It is the first sixth-generation deepwater semi-submersible drilling platform independently designed and built in China. It is fully invested and built by China Offshore Oil Corporation, which combines world-class design concepts and first-class equipment. This is the first time in the world that it is designed according to the harsh sea conditions in the South China Sea, and it can withstand the year 2000. Choose DP3 dynamic positioning system, anchor depth1500m, and classify CCS (China Classification Society) and ABS (american bureau of shipping). The whole project is completed according to the requirements and design concept of China Offshore Oil Corporation, and CNOOC China owns the independent intellectual property rights of the ship. The completion of the platform indicates that China has independent research and development capability and international competitiveness in the field of marine engineering equipment. 20 14, 18 On July 5, 2008, the drilling operation of "Haiyang Youshi 98 1" drilling platform in the sea area near Zhongjian Island in Xisha was completed, and all relevant geological data were successfully obtained as planned. 1 20 14 On August 30th, the deepwater drilling platform "Haiyang Youshi 98 1" was tested in Lingshui 17-2- 1 well in the deep water area of the northern South China Sea, and high-yield oil and gas flow was obtained. According to calculation, Lingshui 17-2 is a large gas field, which is the first major oil and gas discovery in self-operated deepwater exploration in China sea area. In June, 2005, China will once again deploy the "Offshore Oil 98 1" drilling platform in the South China Sea for oil and gas exploration.
