1, Namco
It is the second largest saltwater lake in China, located between Bangor County in Dangxiong County in the north of Lhasa, 240 kilometers away from Lhasa. The lake is 4718m above sea level. The shape of the lake is approximately rectangular, with a length of more than 70 kilometers from east to west and a width of more than 30 kilometers from north to south, with an area of 1920 square kilometers. With a maximum depth of 33 meters and a storage capacity of 76.8 billion cubic meters, it is the largest lake with the highest altitude in the world.
The formation and development of Namtso is controlled by geological structure, formed by Himalayan movement depression, and is a fault lake with traces of glaciation. "Namco" is Tibetan, and the Mongolian name of this lake is "Tengger Caspian Sea", both of which mean "Tianhu".
2. Yang Zhuoyong CuO
Referred to as Yanghu for short, it is less than100km from Lhasa. It is also called the three holy lakes in Tibet with Namtso and Mabang Yongcuo. It is the largest inland lake at the northern foot of the Himalayas, with beautiful lakes and mountains, which is the highest in southern Tibet. Yanghu Lake is a plateau dammed lake, which was formed about 1 100 million years ago due to the blockage of rivers by glacial mudslides. Its shape is irregular and bifurcated like coral branches, so it is also called "coral lake above" in Tibetan.
3. Mabian Yongcuo
It is located 35km east of Pulan County, Ali Prefecture, Tibet, and south of Gangrenbo Qi Feng. The natural scenery around it is very beautiful. Since ancient times, Buddhists and Catholics have regarded it as the "world center" of the holy land, the most transparent freshwater lake in China and one of the three "holy lakes" in Tibet. 6. Measures to provoke Yong Shi

Known as Ghost Lake in ancient times, it means "poisonous black lake" in Tibetan. It is located in Pulan County, Ali region, with an altitude of 4,574 meters. It is a saltwater lake separated from the sacred freshwater lake, so its water is not drinkable for people and animals, which is probably the origin of the name "Ghost Lake".
The local people think that the bottoms of the two lakes are connected. If one day the water from the holy lake flows into the ghost lake along the river channel, and goldfish and herring also flow into it, then the water in the ghost lake will become as sweet as the water in the holy lake.
