Greenland Group pays attention to barrier-free use in the overall design of landing.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the company's establishment, Greenland Group, a comprehensive real estate developer, is currently adjusting its development pace. While pursuing the scale of development, the company hopes to show the friendly and inclusive living environment and architecture to the outside world through the changes in product design.

One of the attempts is the "universal design" plan that Greenland Group is currently studying and landing. This design aims to make it applicable to anyone, regardless of age and health status, which means that the design of products and environment can be applied to everyone as much as possible without adjustment or special design, which embodies a concept that everyone can use it without barriers.

According to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Business Department of Greenland Group, the company's current planning and practice in overall design mainly includes two aspects. First, we are currently cooperating with Tsinghua University Institute of Barrier-free Development to carry out barrier-free renovation of Tsinghua University campus. In addition, the company plans to vigorously promote barrier-free construction in characteristic towns to be built in the future.

Xu Mingxi, assistant to the general manager of Greenland Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Business Department and general manager of the technical department and operation management center, said that Greenland Group's annual project development area is 50-60 million square meters, involving all kinds of buildings, from farmers' resettlement houses to super-high-rise skyscrapers, but the inclusiveness and fairness in general design are only reflected in the low standards of building codes.

Sun Yiping, vice president of Tsinghua University Institute of Barrier-free Development, believes that Japan is in a leading position in barrier-free development in the world, and it is extremely strict and in place from the top-level design of legal protection to the final implementation of construction. Sun Yiping said that Japanese barrier-free design can be described as meticulous, which truly embodies the concept that design serves all people, whether they are healthy or disabled, the elderly or children.

It emphasizes that when a single design scheme cannot satisfy all users, it is necessary to consider providing different choices for users. For example, disabled people are not just one kind of people. If the needs of all kinds of disabled people are taken into account in the design process, more people can be ensured to benefit. Put everyone in an equal position in the design, and meet the needs of all users by meeting higher design standards. At the same time, such an environment should not be limited by technical conditions, but should actively inspire users.

In Sun Yiping's view, barrier-free design is a problem of social equity. Just like some safety standards and emergency facilities that every building needs to meet, barrier-free design also needs to be a mandatory standard to ensure that every group has a fair access.

However, Sun Yiping also said that in view of the current stage of domestic overall economic development, it is unrealistic to fully meet the high standards of foreign countries. On the basis of cost control, it is imperative to present barrier-free design more simply and directly.

This is also the direction that Greenland Group is focusing on now. Last June, 5438+ 10, Greenland Group cooperated with Tsinghua University Institute of Barrier-free Development, and announced the official launch of two projects, namely "Research on Barrier-free Campus Environment Construction in Tsinghua" and "General Design Guide for Barrier-free Greenland".

Ouyang Bing, general manager of Beijing-Tianjin Business Department of Greenland Group, said that Greenland hopes to promote the development of barrier-free public welfare on the one hand, and enhance the value of Greenland technology and products through the support of Tsinghua University Industry-University-Research Barrier-free Development Research Institute on the other hand, so as to further enhance the understanding of the whole real estate industry on comfortable, safe and convenient living environment.

According to Xu Ming Brush, since last year, the company began to cooperate with Tsinghua University to carry out barrier-free transformation of the campus. The first thing the company does is to do a basic survey, focusing on finding out the places that need barrier-free transformation on campus and making a barrier-free map. Secondly, according to the problems and locations listed in the barrier-free map, communicate with schools and relevant authorities, and plan the barrier-free facilities renovation in some key areas, such as the barrier-free renovation of some public areas, classrooms and laboratories.

The characteristic town of barrier-free design being planned by Greenland is to build a demonstration town, form some advanced design concepts and promote the formulation and landing of barrier-free design standards. At present, Greenland Group has also made some achievements in barrier-free design of residential quarters, such as a project in Daxing, one of which is barrier-free design, such as stepless design of garden landscape, rest point, handrail and voice prompt. Xu Minghua said that the company's goal is to apply these barrier-free designs to more projects and promote the development of the whole industry.

In addition to specific barrier-free design projects, Greenland also held some public welfare activities, such as the Beijing International Mountain Walking Conference last Saturday, which invited some well-known visually impaired people to participate, calling on the public to take the initiative to pay attention to and help the disadvantaged groups, promote the development of barrier-free environment, and make society more inclusive.
