Mr. Li, Chairman of China (Hongkong) Petroleum Co., Ltd., is 44 years old. 1983 Graduated from Southwest Petroleum University, majoring in oil and gas exploration and engineering. In the same year, Mr. Li joined China Oil and Gas Corporation ("China Oil and Gas Corporation"). He used to be the deputy director of the Houston office of China Oil and Gas Corporation, the chairman and general manager of China Oil and Gas Corporation, and the deputy general manager of China Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Corporation. In 2000, Mr. Li received an MBA from the University of Nebraska. Mr. Li was appointed as the executive vice chairman and managing director of the Company in 2006 and became the chief executive officer in 2005. Mr. Li was appointed as the chairman of the Company on 5 June and 5 October 2007.
