The 14th Institute of the First Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (14th Institute of China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology) is mainly engaged in the research and design of reentry vehicles and the development of electromechanical products. It is a multi-disciplinary comprehensive high-tech research institute. Over the past 30 years, the 14th Institute has developed a variety of space reentry vehicles with advanced technology and equipment and strong technical force. He has won hundreds of national and ministerial awards for scientific and technological progress (invention) and made brilliant achievements in national defense construction.

At present, there are more than 600 employees 14, including more than 200 senior professional and technical positions. It is a master's and doctoral degree awarding unit with postdoctoral mobile stations.

While developing aircraft, the 14th Institute has also made great efforts to develop civilian products and achieved good economic and social benefits. The main projects include: wireless transmission microcomputer monitoring system, microcomputer-controlled electroplating production line, electronic control system of cigarette machine production line and high-frequency switching power supply.
