Li Faying's Life
Participated in the Long March. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, he served as political instructor, deputy political commissar, deputy head and acting head of the Sixth Regiment of the Eighth Route Army 120 Division, and political commissar of the Ninth Regiment of Suimeng Military Region. During the War of Liberation, he served as the head of the 3rd Regiment of the Cavalry Brigade of Suimeng Military Region, the 42nd Regiment, the 4th1Regiment of the 5th Military Division of Jinsui Military Region, the political commissar of the 27th Regiment of the 2nd1Brigade of Jinsui Military Region, and the deputy director of the political department of the 3rd Division. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as the political commissar of the Fourth Aviation School of the Air Force, the president of the Eighth Aviation School, the deputy commander of the Air Force, the deputy director and political commissar of the Kunming Military Region Air Force Command, the political commissar of the Air Force, and the air force adviser of the Nanjing Military Region.

Former air force consultant of Nanjing Military Region. Li Faying was born in Huoqiu County, Anhui Province. 1930 joined the Chinese communist youth league, joined the Chinese red army of workers and peasants in the same year, and 1933 joined China. He has served as platoon leader, company commander, officer, director of regiment political department, division political assistant, correspondent, political instructor, regiment political commissar, division head, deputy director of division political department, political commissar of Air Force No.4 Aviation School, president, deputy division commander and military political commissar of No.8 Aviation School.

During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, he participated in the first to fourth counter-campaigns against "encirclement and suppression" and the 25,000-mile Long March in the revolutionary base areas of Hubei, Henan and Anhui. War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression participated in battles such as Hundred Regiments War, and Taiyuan, Linfen, Ping Jin and Du Jiang during the Liberation War. 196 1 promoted from senior colonel to major general.
