Wang Jinshan (19 15- 1978), formerly known as Wenshan Wang, was born in Xujiatian Village, Gao Qiao, Huang An (now Hong 'an) County, Hubei Province, and was from a poor peasant family. A famous senior general of China People's Liberation Army, 1955 awarded the rank of Lieutenant General, and won the first-class August 1st Medal, the first-class Medal of Independence and Freedom, and the first-class Medal of Liberation. General Wang Jinshan has a nickname "Crazy Wang", because in a battle, he had a fight with a Kuomintang soldier and got red in the eye. As a result, they both rolled off a cliff together. Kuomintang soldiers were killed on the spot, but Wang Jinshan survived, only being poked in the head by a cone stone. From then on, his comrades-in-arms called him "Wang Crazy"
