Medical noncommissioned officers generally work in primary health teams or hospitals directly under the army. Their job responsibilities require them not only to complete the initial diagnosis and treatment of common and frequently-occurring diseases in the army, but also to undertake the work of disease prevention, psychological counseling and health education for officers and men in the army, and also to complete the tasks of battlefield rescue and self-help and mutual rescue.
