See the world with "three causes and one fruit"

? Xu Huaiqing//Notes on Taiji

Let me start with a few small examples.

Example: Ask how people's intelligence is formed. Some people say that it is self-taught. If you are willing to study hard, you will be smart. This should be only one reason, and it is a condition created the day after tomorrow. But in fact, there are many people who really work hard and pay a lot of hardships, but they are not necessarily smarter than others. This also requires a certain personal talent and unique opportunity conditions. In other words, a unilateral factor can not get a perfect expected result. Even if you work hard, you may just be in vain, drawing water with a sieve. Really, it is impossible for the feelings of the world to be transferred by personal will. However, many people have innate intelligence, but they don't work hard or have few opportunities the day after tomorrow, so their intelligence can't be brought into play. And if your talent is good, you get good opportunities for development, and with your own efforts, your intelligence will be brought into full play and fully displayed. What is explained here is that one factor does not necessarily produce a fruit. Only by combining the three elements of congenital, acquired and chance can we achieve a certain fruit status.

? Another example is: the weather, location, people and three factors constitute a piece, which is obvious and beyond doubt.

In primary school, the teacher taught us to write narratives. The requirements are simple. As long as you explain the time, place and people clearly, your story will be established. And what you can see and hear in our newspapers and broadcasts, whether it is a new report at any time, are all three essential elements. In other words, the composition of an event is composed of three factors: time, location, people and so on, that is, the so-called three causes, three causes and one result of an event.

The ancients had a theory of harmony between heaven, earth and man. In fact, heaven, earth and people are one and indispensable. Take advantage of the right time, the right place and the right people, and you can't be harmonious with others. Some people have peace and geographical advantages, but also need to win by the east wind; The harmony between man and the weather is very important, but there is no place where it is impossible to show it. It can be seen that these three factors are equally important and indispensable.

Three situations: say home. There is a strong concept in China culture, that is, taking home as the standard. Home does not mean that several people live in the same house, nor does it mean that a man and a woman get married. The essence of family is: father, mother and children are trinity, and they are indispensable. Father and mother (wife) and children are established correspondingly, mother depends on (husband) and children, and children are based on father and mother. The three are realized by internal blood relationship. Without any one, it is impossible to establish such a relationship. Therefore, home is the general term for the unity of father, mother and son. From this, it can also be said that it is the most basic composition of human beings.

? Of course, examples of three causes and one effect can be seen everywhere and should be seen everywhere. Unfortunately, people have long been accustomed to the graphic art of two-dimensional thinking, which is limited to the bad taste of binary opposition; And the basic common sense of seeing one including three, three-dimensional, three things, three causes and one fruit has been forgotten or buried in front of us. As we all know, Buddhism stresses karma, which is correct on the whole, but it still needs "three causes and one effect". Some people often think that the wicked can't get the result because the factors are not mature, and the wicked also follow the law of ups and downs and then ups and downs. One behavior is ignorance, the second is luck, and the third is habit, and recidivists can't escape the law.

Looking at the world through three causes and one fruit, our world is holistic and three-dimensional. The three-dimensional world is not only a three-dimensional space, but also a Taiji three-dimensional composed of the trinity of time, space and matter. The three basic elements of the simple structure of Taiji are the existence of its own systematicness, functionality and relativity, as well as the overall balance and circulation. It is completely out of the incomplete thinking of the low-level binary opposition of yin and yang.

Looking at the world from three causes and one fruit, our world is naturally balanced, and everything in natural balance is synthesized by three forces. Our steelyard is a combination of weighing, weighing and weighing, which is also an unbreakable principle of lever balance. Standing on three legs is common sense. Walking on two legs is dominated by the mind, and it is impossible for two legs to balance themselves. Therefore, the self-balance of yin and yang dichotomy is absolutely untenable. The balance of yin and yang is only under the auspices and domination of Tai Chi. Who can control yin and yang, only Tai Chi is true.

? Looking at the world from three causes and one fruit, our world is primitive and endless. Three points define a circle, three circles follow a circle, and three cycles. Life is alive between life and death. The past and the future depend on the present, and there is an endless process of primitive return to the end. Taiji cycle is a complete cycle, a universal cycle and an eternal cycle; It can't be binary, on the contrary, yin and yang open the loop.

Looking at the world from three causes and one fruit, our world is a world where everything in the universe is integrated, a unique Taiji ontology world, and a world where everything naturally coexists. It can never be an artificial world of opposites, duality and yin and yang.
