The teachers, students and equipment of Qunjin Middle School were merged into yancheng middle school (formerly No.23 Middle School) on 1953. Up to now, six comrades, Jiao Renzu, Zhou Heqin, Wei, Yin Qun and Yan Zhenyu, have served as principals (most of whom are also deputy secretaries of party branches) to fully preside over the school work. The implementation of the principal responsibility system has effectively strengthened the party's leadership over education, effectively strengthened the command over education, teaching and administrative management, effectively strengthened democratic management and supervision, fully mobilized all positive factors, and the school has undergone rapid changes.
