One of the five famous kilns in the Song Dynasty, named after its location in Ruzhou, is famous for its exquisite ceramics and enjoys a high reputation in the history of China ceramics. In the late Northern Song Dynasty, Ru kiln specialized in firing imperial porcelain, namely "Ru Ci", or Ru Ci for short. Ru Ci was fired from the first year of Yuan You in Song Zhezong to the fifth year of Chongning in Song Huizong (1086 ~ 1 106). Later, it was lost because of the Song and Jin Wars.
Junyao
In the area of Bagua Cave and Juntai in Yuzhou, Henan Province, it is famous for its ancient Juntai. It was first burned in the Tang Dynasty, flourished in the Northern Song Dynasty, and continued to burn in the Jin and Yuan Dynasties. It mainly burns opaque glazed porcelain, black porcelain, white porcelain and black porcelain. It is famous for its magical "kiln changing". Huizong in the Northern Song Dynasty was designated as a royal treasure and one of the five famous kilns in the Song Dynasty.
Ge Yao
One of the five famous kilns in Song Dynasty. In the Southern Song Dynasty, there were two brothers, each with a kiln, and the one burned by history was called "Ge Kiln".
My brother's name is "Brother Yao". Porcelain is dignified and simple, and its glaze is moist and thick, which has been passed down from generation to generation. Now it is mainly collected in museums in Beijing, Shanghai and Taiwan Province Province.
Ding Yao
In Quyang County, Hebei Province, Song belongs to Dingzhou, hence the name. It started in the Tang Dynasty and ended in the Yuan Dynasty. It mainly burns white porcelain, but also black porcelain, sauce-colored glazed porcelain and blue glazed porcelain. Great achievements were made in the Song Dynasty, and it was one of the five famous kilns in the Song Dynasty.
Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Kiln
With the demise of the Northern Song Dynasty, the original kiln in China was destroyed. Song Gaozong fled to the southeast, with its capital in Lin 'an, and established the Southern Song Dynasty court. Xiunei Temple official kiln is located in Phoenix Mountain, Hangzhou, and the new official kiln is built near the Baguatian altar in Wuguishan, a suburb. The inner kiln and the new official kiln concentrated skilled craftsmen from the north and the south, and produced celadon needed by the imperial court and dignitaries. This is a continuation of the Bianjing official kiln in the Northern Song Dynasty, which was called the Southern Song official kiln in history.
