Comrade Zhu Fuchu is the old mayor of Taizhou. He used to be secretary of Tiantai County Party Committee and executive deputy commissioner of Taizhou Administrative Office. After Taizhou was demolished, he became the first mayor of Taizhou. After the expiration of his first term, he was appointed as the chairman of Taizhou CPPCC. He stepped down as the chairman of CPPCC and served as honorary director of Taizhou Municipal Commission for Customs and Excise.
