Who is the first grape in Chinese painting?
Du Guangwei, nicknamed "Grape Du", is famous for being good at drawing grapes, and his grape paintings are widely known. Born in Longkou City, Yantai, Shandong Province, 1962 graduated from the Institute of Aviation Industry, and studied in the advanced Chinese painting class of China Artists Association and the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He studied under famous teachers such as Liu Yunsuo, Liu Yunsuo, Han Wenlai and Liu, and under teachers such as Xu Beiding, Sun Qifeng, Sun Zixi, Zhou Zunsheng. Teacher Huo Chunyang gave him high praise and encouragement. His works are mainly freehand flower-and-bird paintings and long scroll landscape paintings. Many works have been published in the People's Liberation Army Daily, People's Navy, Beijing Evening News, China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper, China Painter and other newspapers. His works were selected into the Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition of the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army, the Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition of Haizheng and the Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition sponsored by Beijing Artists Association, Tianjin Artists Association and Shandong Artists Association, and exhibited in China Art Museum, Military Museum and Beijing Working People's Cultural Palace. Resumes have been compiled into dictionaries and picture books such as China Calligraphy and Painting Seal Engraving Expo, Selected Works of China Fine Arts, Selected Works of Students in Advanced Chinese Painting Class of China Artists Association, Selected Works of Calligraphy and Painting across the Taiwan Strait, Yearbook of China Calligraphy and Painting Seal Maker, Longkou CPPCC Friendship Painting and Calligraphy Collection published by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and other departments. Many works are collected by friends and collectors at home and abroad. He is currently a director of China Artists Association, a member of Shandong Artists Association and vice president of Xu Xiang Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
