After Taber's death, celebrities praised Taber more than words. Confucius' The Analects of Confucius Taibo praised him as "extremely virtuous"; Sima Qian listed him as the head of the "royal family" in Historical Records; Pi Rixiu, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, also praised his behavior of "competing for two emperors in one temple" in his poem "Seven Wonders".

In order to commemorate the supreme virtue of Taibo Sanrang, Taibo Temple is located in Kou Village, Beiguo Township, Qishan County, Shaanxi Province, Nanwutou Village, Chencun Town, Fengxiang County, and Wushan. Suzhou and Wuxi Meili also have Taibo Temple, and the largest one is Meili (Mei Village) where Taibo Benwu is located. Because of Taibo's abdication, Taibo Hall is also called "King Rang Hall", and Taibo Hall is also called "King Rang Hall".
