The school started from Anhui Private Senior Vocational School 1935, and was renamed as Anhui Engineering University on 20 10 after the running stages of Wuhu Motor Manufacturing School (formerly under the Ministry of Machinery Industry), Wuhu Machinery School, Anhui Electromechanical Vocational and Technical College and Anhui Engineering and Technical College.

Third, Southern Anhui Medical College

Southern Anhui Medical College is located in Wuhu, a historic city known as "the giant port of the Yangtze River and the backbone of Anhui", which is close to the vast Yangtze River and gathers beautiful scenery in the south of the Yangtze River. The school was founded in 1958, when it was Wuhu Medical College. 197 1 year merged into Anhui medical college, which was the southern Anhui branch of Anhui medical college; 1974 with the approval of the State Council, the school was established independently, and it was named wannan medical college.
