After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), with the establishment of Suzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Suzhou Artists Association, Suzhou painters and painters organized for the first time, which opened a new chapter in Suzhou art history. In the exhibition of 1959 Suzhou Liberation 10 anniversary, Yu Tongfu used traditional brushwork to express the new landscape. At that time, there were few innovations. Max Zhang shows the late autumn scenery of Tianping Mountain with green mountains and green waters. The plum in Xie Xiaosili is vigorous and gorgeous; Gu Zhonghua's Wild Goose; Liu's fruits and vegetables; Carp in Chenjiu Village; Wu's roses have broken the original barriers to varying degrees and added the flavor of life. During this period, the painting "Dusk in the Valley" by Wuyang Daimu, the son of the famous painter Wu Daiqiu and the grandson of Wu Tao, was quite appreciated by Comrade Zhou Yang, the leader of the Ministry of Culture at that time. Fei Xin When I was young, I studied under two masters, Feng Zikai and Chen Qiucao, and paid attention to sketching. At that time, he made a living by calligraphy and compiling children's sketch textbooks. At this time, he went to observe life and painted the embroidery worker into a very novel work. Xu Shiming's "Spring in the South of the Yangtze River" was published in Fine Arts magazine, and at the same time, together with Fei Xinwo's "Embroiderer", it was selected for the third national traditional Chinese painting exhibition, which was a strong affirmation to Suzhou traditional Chinese painting circle.
1959 to the period of reform and opening up, it is the period when Suzhou art circles cultivate new forces. In the early days of liberation, there were not many traditional landscape painters in Suzhou, only Max Zhang, Zhang Yisheng, Xu Shaoqing, Wu Yanshi and others. Since the 1960s, young painters have gradually grown up. Sun, Liu Maoshan and Liu Maoshan are all famous landscape painters with great strength and influence in the country at present, because their descriptions of hometown landscapes are unconventional and full of new ideas. In addition, there are Gu Rongyuan, Hang Qingshi, Huang Zhong, Zhang, Silent, Sun Kuan, Zhang Ming, Wu, Yu Heng, etc. They not only inherited the fine traditions of Wu Pai, but also opened up colorful new spaces in their respective artistic fields. Sun Kuan, a young painter, won the gold medal in Jinling Hundred Chinese Paintings Exhibition in 2005, which is the highest award of Suzhou Chinese Paintings in national exhibitions.
Suzhou figure painter, Du's early redrawing, mainly represents the works of rural women and the People's Liberation Army. Zhang, Wang Xiqi, Cheng Zongyuan and Gu Zengping are mostly classical figures with beautiful lines and graceful images. Xu Huiquan, on the other hand, is a painter who has been exploring traditional painting methods since 1980s and 1990s. His works are first drawn by lines, with a strong sense of rhythm, and then accompanied by carefully drawn pictures, graceful vase flowers and elegant and eye-catching colors, which have a beautiful but provocative artistic conception. Zhou Jumin's painting style has another kind of humor. His "Talking about Life" series are all very ingenious, with rich colors and charm, and a strong sense of integrity and folk interest. Haan Lee, Huang Ai and Liu Jia are all university professional teachers, and their works are more from real life.
Suzhou flower-and-bird painting has made great progress after liberation, and Mr. Zhang Xinjia is the most influential one in China. In his early years, he studied under Mr. Chen Mo, a famous scholar in the south of the Yangtze River, and studied Ren Bonian, Xu Qingteng and Chen Boyang in depth. At the same time, he rewrote his life and absorbed nutrition from it. The style of his works is beautiful and admirable because of its beauty. Mr. Zhang is the best disciple of Mr. Wang, and now he is the honorary chairman of Suzhou Artists Association. Mr. Shao, a native and a student, is now one of the main painters of Suzhou flower-and-bird painting. Mr. Jiang graduated from the National West Lake Art Institute, and is a favorite pupil of Mr. Pan Tianshou. After graduation, I worked as a teaching assistant in Pan Tianshou. He devoted his whole life to the study of ink and wash orchid bamboo, and his works were slim and elegant. In his later years, he taught and educated in Suzhou Arts and Crafts School to train underachievers. Mr. Pan Yuyu used to dabble in watermark woodcut, and later painted ink opera figures, and in recent years painted flowers and birds. While creating oil paintings, Yisa paid attention to the creation of flower-and-bird paintings. Zhu Xinsheng and Gong Yin's meticulous flower-and-bird paintings also have a place in Suzhou painting circle. Zhang Zhong, the daughter of Mr. Zhang Xinjia, is famous for her art and is active in the field of flower-and-bird painting. Zhang Yingchun, a meticulous flower-and-bird painter, is an active and award-winning young artist in recent years. Yao Xinfeng, Wu Zhanyuan, Wei Benxiong, Chen Rudong, Qin Xueyan and Wu Xiao all showed their magical powers in their respective creations, and they are active participants in Suzhou painting circles.
Suzhou oil painting, watercolor painting and pastel painting started very early. Yan, Zhu Shijie, and other middle-aged ancestors started, followed by great men such as Wu Shuyang, and then Wang Renhe, Zhou Aizhen and others painted many good works. Young painters such as Lu, Xu Haiou, Jiang Zhusong, Yao Yi, Wu Xiaodun,, and Peng Cainian have been working hard. Watercolor paintings of Jiang Chun, Beixumin and Huanghai have made great progress in Suzhou.
Since the reform and opening up, the oil painting team in Suzhou has trained and introduced many excellent painters. In 2006, Wu's work "Light" won the gold medal in the Jinling Exhibition of 100 oil paintings in China, and his work "Enjoy the Sunshine" won the gold medal in the Jinling Exhibition of 100 oil paintings in China in 2008, which is the highest prize of Suzhou oil paintings in national exhibitions since the founding of the People's Republic of China. The works of, Lu, Dai Jiafeng, Qian Liu,,, Jin Wei, Wang Xianpei and others have also achieved excellent results in different national exhibitions over the years. Lu's pastel work "Taihu Fishing Village" won the gold medal in the 9th National Art Exhibition, which is the third painter in Suzhou to win the highest prize in pastel painting in the national exhibition after Yan and Hangzhou. It is their overall strength that has brought Suzhou oil painting and famille rose into a brand-new era, and promoted the status of Suzhou oil painting and famille rose in Jiangsu and even the whole country. Suzhou prints originally had Taohuawu New Year pictures with a long history. In 1970s and 1980s, printmakers active in Suzhou, Jiangsu and even the whole country were Pan Yuyu, Shen Minyi, Wang Mian, Lao Si, Wu and Chen Xiu. They vigorously promoted Suzhou's watermark woodcut prints to a glorious position. For a time, the paintings spread far and wide, and famous artists at home and abroad came in an endless stream. The famous "Autumn in Suzhou" printmaking exhibition occupies a large proportion in provincial and municipal printmaking exhibitions. This is not found in other paintings in Suzhou.
After the 1990s, Gu Zhijun, Ling, Zhang Tianxing, Wang, Wang and other new generation printmakers stood out and won many awards in various exhibitions in China, provinces and cities.
With the vigorous development of art design education in colleges and universities in Suzhou, especially in the past 30 years of reform and opening up, the level of art design in Suzhou has made great progress and formed a team of art designers with high standards. Jiang Zhusong and Hui enjoy a high reputation in the industry and have planned very successful artistic images for many major economic and cultural activities in Suzhou.
2 1 century, with the continuous development of China's economic construction and the quiet progress of the Renaissance, Suzhou's fine arts will be more prosperous, and there will be more high-level painters. The river of art is extremely vast, and Suzhou fine arts will further create masterpieces with Suzhou characteristics.
