The torrent trilogy is the general name of three serial novels: Home, Spring and Autumn. This is an important work in the history of modern literature. From 193 1 to 19438, I started writing my first home and finished it in the third autumn, during which 10 years passed intermittently. This is another masterpiece in the history of literature that records the decline and fall of feudal families after A Dream of Red Mansions. Through a true description of the change, decline and disintegration of the bureaucratic landlord family, Gao Laoye's Family exposes the shocking darkness of the feudal family, praises the initial awakening and heroic struggle of the educated youth, profoundly reflects the historical overview of the complete collapse of the semi-feudal and semi-colonial society in China, and rings the death knell for the old system. The trilogy, with the general theme that the anti-imperialist and anti-feudal revolutionary torrent set off by the May 4th Movement will destroy the last camp of feudal thought, shows the major social trends such as the decay of feudal order, the inevitable demise of ethics and morality, and the rise of a new generation of democratic youth. "Spring" describes Chueh-min's constant struggle, Shuying's angry departure, Hui's tragic fate and the gradual fall of Ke 'an and Ke 'ding. Autumn describes the intensification of contradictions in the Gaos, Qing Er's serious illness and death, Chueh-hsin's gradual awakening and the collapse of the Gaos.
