When is the flowering period of Yushu?
The flowering period of Yushu is mainly in late autumn, winter and early spring when the weather is cool. Many Yushu flowers bloom in winter, and few Yushu flowers can bloom in summer. In the north, Yushu can blossom in winter if there is heating in the house. In the south, if there is no heating at home, Yushu will bloom in late autumn or spring. Therefore, whether you are in the south or in the north, Yushu has entered the flowering period or is about to enter the flowering period. If you pay attention to maintenance, it is possible to blossom a jade tree flower.
How many years has Yushu been cultivated before it blooms?
How many years has Yushu been cultivated? There is no fixed answer. Some flower friends can bloom in two or three years, and some flower friends have not seen flowers for thirty or forty years. Theoretically, Yushu cut with branches will have the ability to blossom the next year. But the bigger the plant, the longer the maintenance time, and the stronger the flowering ability of Yushu. The reason why Yushu, which has been maintained in your family for many years, does not blossom is mainly the word "raise". If it does not meet the flowering conditions, it will not bloom for many years. A flower friend said that Yushu is divided into male and female, the male does not open, and the female opens. Yushu has both males and females. As long as it is properly maintained, every tree can blossom.
How to make Yushu blossom?
1, the plant age should be enough.
As mentioned earlier, Yushu cut with branches will have the ability to blossom in the second year after survival. But if your Yushu has just been cut down this year, it probably won't bloom. Don't give way to flowers, take good care of plant types and consider flowering next year.
2, the temperature is guaranteed
Yushu is not cold-resistant, afraid of cold. After flowering, the lowest temperature should be kept above 10 (below 10, growth will stop, and below 5, it may be frostbitten or frozen to death), and the highest temperature should be kept below 25, and the temperature difference should be controlled within 10, which is beneficial to flowering. Especially when the temperature is between 10~20 degrees, it is the easiest to differentiate flower buds and open small white flowers. Too high or too low temperature will inhibit the flower bud differentiation of Yushu and will not bloom.
3, the humidity should be low
Yushu likes a dry growing environment, and the air humidity should be lower than 50% in winter maintenance, which is more conducive to flowering. If the air humidity is too high, Yushu will grow vigorously, and the leaves are dark green, bright, wide and thick, so it is difficult to bloom. It is precisely because Yushu is easy to blossom in a dry environment that Yushu maintained in the north is easier to blossom, while Yushu maintained in the south is more difficult to blossom. Yushu likes to be dry. Don't spray water on the leaves at ordinary times. On the one hand, spraying water may cause branches and leaves to rot, on the other hand, it will take root and sprout, affecting the overall viewing.
4, the light should be sufficient
Yushu likes light and is afraid of strong light. In addition to proper shading in summer and early autumn when the weather is hot, it is easier to bloom in sunny places in late autumn and winter. If Yushu is maintained in a place with insufficient light for a long time, the leaves will become longer and thinner, the spacing between leaves will become wider, and the overall ornamental value will be greatly reduced. The flowering ability of Yushu will be greatly improved if the daily light time is kept above 5 hours in autumn and winter.
5, water control and maintenance
In winter, the temperature is low and the temperature difference is large, so the water can be properly controlled when Yushu is maintained, and then watered when the basin soil is almost dry. Water control is not only beneficial to Yushu flowering, but also can prevent frost and overgrowth. Especially when it is cold in winter and there is no heating, the cold tolerance of Yushu with water control and maintenance will be much better. There may be nothing when there is much water in winter. When the weather is warm in spring, the leaves will wrinkle and soften, and gradually begin to fall off.
Is Yushu in full bloom?
Flower friends who have seen Yushu blossom should know that Yushu's flowers are relatively small, and the beauty is definitely not as good as that of longevity flowers and crab claw orchids that bloom in winter. But the flowering of Yushu is not common, and it is basically the same all year round. Occasionally, it's refreshing to bloom, and it feels like it's worth more. When Yushu bloomed, there were not many new branches and leaves. The situation of some Yushu trees is not good, because flowering consumes more nutrients and even the old leaves wither and fall off. In addition, the flowers in Yushu are relatively small, and they can't bloom at once. Most of them are kept indoors. Flowers wither and fall to the ground every day, so it is more troublesome to clean them up. In short, Yushu has both advantages and disadvantages. If you really want it to blossom, do the above five things, abuse it, and it will bloom. It doesn't matter if it blooms or not, as long as it grows healthily.
