The unique taste and special position of Chaoyanggou, a Henan opera, in the history of modern drama in China is indisputable and irreplaceable.
The play was premiered in Zhengzhou on May 1958 by the Third Troupe of Henan Henan Opera Academy, with screenwriter Yang Lanchun, directors Yang Lanchun and Xu Xin, music designer Wang Jixiao and Jiang Hongxuan, and stage art designer Guan Peng. Wei Yun decorated with a silver ring and Wang Shanpu decorated with a bolt.
Most of Chaoyanggou's vocals are still widely sung and circulated in the Central Plains, which proves Chaoyanggou's tenacious artistic vitality.

Chaoyanggou was transplanted by many operas. 65438-0958 Chinese Opera School was adapted and rehearsed by 50 classes of Peking Opera students, directed by Xun Lingxiang and Zhao Rongxin, starring Qu and Sun Hongxun.
1963, the Experimental Peking Opera Troupe of China Opera Research Institute was reorganized, written by Song Deyang, directed by Liu Muduo and starring Liu Xiurong and Li Guang. The performance of this book was planned to participate in the 1964 National Peking Opera Modern Drama Observation and Performance Conference, but due to unpredictable reasons, the play was rejected by Jiang Qing and never performed.
