From 2004 to 2006, he worked as a visiting scholar and postdoctoral researcher at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Sussex. 1996—— Now, he teaches in the Chemistry Department of Zhengzhou University. He has been rated as a young and middle-aged backbone teacher of Zhengzhou University, a young and middle-aged backbone teacher of colleges and universities in Henan Province, an academic and technical leader of the Henan Provincial Department of Education, and an outstanding individual in the principle of three educations of Zhengzhou University. In 2007, he won the second prize in the second speech contest of Zhengzhou University.
