During the Three Kingdoms period, so many people were included in the Wu Temple by Song Huizong. Why is Lu Bu not among them?
To know the answer to this question, we must first look at the ancient famous soldiers who were elected as seventy-two generals in the Wu Temple.

In the fourth year of Xuanhe (1 122), it was announced that outstanding ancient masters would be enshrined in the Wu Temple, and the following 72 people were selected, namely:

Leitian, Sun Bin, Lian Po, Li Mu, Li Guang, Huo Qubing, Deng Yu, Feng Yi, haing s ngor, Huang Fusong, Wargo, Zhang Fei, Du Yu, Tao Kan, Murong Ke, Yu Wenxian, Wei Xiaokuan, He Ruobi, Li, Su. Wang Jun, Xie Xuan, Wang Meng, Hu Luguang, Wang Sengbian, Yu Jin, Wu Mingche,,,, Pei Xingjian, Zhang, Guo,.

In addition, there are martial artist Jiang Shang, Asian artist Sean, and ten philosophers of Wu Temple: Guan Zhong, Sun Wu, Le Yi, Zhuge Liang, Li Ji, Tian Rangcha, Fan Li, Han Xin, Li Jing and Guo Ziyi.

This is the seventy-two generals of Wudian in Song Dynasty. From this list, it is not difficult to see that the 72 generals who can be selected into the Wu Temple are the best famous soldiers of their time in ancient times. Everyone can be independent and make outstanding achievements. To put it simply, the seventy-two generals in Wumiao are all great gods.

So since we are talking about Lu Bu, let's take a look at who went to the Three Kingdoms at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, that is, who was selected as the seventy-two generals of Wudian with Lu Bu at the same time.

They are Huang Fusong, Zhuge Liang, Zhang Liao, Zhang Fei, Guan Yu and Zhou Yu, and there are probably only a few people.

Zhuge Liang is not going to say much here. He is one of the top ten philosophers in the Wu Temple, and he is as famous as Fan Li, Le Yi, Sun Wu and Guan Zhong. He is not only outstanding in military ability, but also has high achievements in politics and literature. His comprehensive ability is absolutely crushing Lu Bu, and there is no comparability at all. Then let's compare Lu Bu with the others.

The first one, Huang Fusong, was a famous soldier in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. His masterpiece is to pacify the chaos of the Yellow Scarf Army and capture and kill the leaders of the Yellow Scarf Army, such as Zhang Jiao, Sean and Zhang Bao. Later, he defeated Liangzhou rebels headed by the kingdom in Chencang and stabilized the Eastern Han regime.

Second, Zhang Liao, a famous soldier at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the beginning of the Three Kingdoms, was the first of Cao Wei's "Five Good Generals". He was originally a ministry of Lu Bu, so there was no room for development. Lyu3 bu4 surrendered to Cao Cao after being captured and killed. From then on, life is like an open book, representing the following battles:

Destroying Wu Huan is a famous battle in Zhang Liao. In this campaign, he led a large army to assault, defeated Wuhuan's army, and killed Wuhuan Khan, who was famous for his "warrior", with more than 200,000 people.

The battle of Hefei is even more exciting. Zhang Liao only led 800 cavalry into Wudong Camp, and even once rushed to Sun Quan's handsome flag, scaring Sun Quan away. From then on, Zhang Liao became Sun Quan's nightmare. Netizens often take this opportunity to ridicule Sun Quan, saying: Giving birth to a child, like Sun Zhongmou, is 8 million.

Third place, Zhang Fei, a famous soldier in Sichuan and one of the "four town generals" in Sichuan, represented the following examples:

According to Shui, after Cao Cao captured Jingzhou, he was determined to destroy Liu Bei, so he led the army in pursuit. Liu Beijun was defeated, and only led dozens of people such as Zhuge Liang, Zhang Fei and Zhao Yun to escape. And Cao Cao's army is still chasing behind. It seems that he won't stop until he kills Liu Bei. Liu Bei lost Zhao Yun in the process of escaping here.

In this case, in order to escape, Liu Bei decided to let Zhang Fei patrol and only gave Zhang Fei twenty cavalry. Zhang Fei was sincere, too, and stood on Dangyang Bridge with these twenty riders. Soon Cao Cao's army arrived. Although he knew that Zhang Fei's men were few, Liu Bei was able to retreat safely because everyone was afraid of Zhang Fei's bravery and no one dared to challenge him.

In the battle of the Party Canal, Zhang Fei's opponent was Zhang He, one of Cao Wei's "five good generals" and good at defense. In this battle, Zhang Fei gave full play to his command ability and defeated Zhang He by taking advantage of the terrain. In order to escape, Zhang He had to give up his horse, climb mountains and wade, and finally only led more than ten people to Nanzheng.

Fourth place, Guan Yu, a famous soldier of Shu and Han in the last years of the Eastern Han Dynasty, was one of the "four town generals" in Shu, and his representative exploits were as follows:

In the Battle of White Horse, Guan Yu showed his great power. Before the war, he killed Yan Liang, a general of Yuan Shao, and returned home dressed in gold. Yuan Shao's generals were unstoppable and helped Cao Cao solve the siege of the white horse.

Guan Yu flooded the Seventh Army in Fancheng War and escaped from Pound's ban, which once threatened China and even forced Cao Cao to move the capital.

But in the end, because Monroe of Soochow attacked the rear area, Guan Yu had no reinforcements and no retreat, and was finally defeated and killed. Perhaps for this reason, Guan Yu ranks behind Zhang Fei in the ranking of martial arts temples.

Fifth, Zhou Yu, a famous star in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, followed Sun Ce to pacify Jiangdong in his early years. After Sun Ce's death, Zhou Yu and Zhang Zhao jointly took charge of Wu Dong's military affairs, representing the following battles respectively:

Battle of Red Cliffs, this battle is a very famous classic battle in Chinese history. Soochow completely destroyed Cao Cao's dream of unity with a fire, thus laying a three-point world pattern.

Some of the above generals are brave and resourceful, and they all have the ability to fight alone. The important thing is that they have all made great contributions to their own regime.

On the other hand, Lu Bu, although known as the "flying general", seems to have made no achievements.

Cao Cao defeated Yanzhou; Later, he competed with Cao Cao for Xuzhou, was defeated again and was killed by Cao Cao. Lu Bu also bullied Liu Bei, who was outnumbered at that time.

Moreover, as a famous soldier in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, Lu Bu had many misdeeds, such as being greedy for money and lustful, and murdered his two bosses. Therefore, many netizens also ridiculed Lu Bu's "dutiful son Lu Bu, specializing in adoptive father".

In fact, Ding Yuan was not the adoptive father of Lu Bu in history, but the relationship between them was superior and subordinate, but Lu Bu was lured by Dong Zhuo and killed Ding Yuan. After Ding Yuan's death, Dong Zhuo appointed him as the riding captain in order to win over Lu Bu, and vowed to be a father and son with him, that is to say, Dong Zhuo was the adoptive father of Lu Bu.

Dong Zhuo was cruel and hated. For the sake of safety, Lu Bu is often regarded as his own bodyguard to protect Brother Zhong. However, Dong Zhuo is suspicious. He once threw a halberd at Lu Bu because of a little setback. Lu Bu had an affair with one of Dong Zhuo's handmaids. She was worried that Dong Zhuo would find out, so she was very upset.

In this case, Lu Bu was successfully rebelled by Wang Yun and assassinated Dong Zhuo, which was the second boss killed by Lu Bu. Lu Bu was also appointed as General Fenwu for his work, and was appointed as the Third Division of Fake Festival and Yibi. He was appointed as an official in Hou Wen, and together with Wang Yun, he managed state affairs.

But it didn't last long. Two months later, Dong Zhuo's aides Li Jue, Guo Si and others drove him out of Chang 'an, and he only kept it for eight days.

What is important is that Lu Bu is foolhardy, capricious and very indecisive. Take the battle in which Cao Cao drowned Pi and captured Lu Bu alive. In fact, before Cao Cao launched the Communist Party, Lu Bu had the opportunity to lead the troops to break through and protect himself. But the goods were soft-hearted, listened to his wife's words and gave up Chen Gong's plan, which eventually led to defeat and death.

With this kind of record, such a person, Lu Bu is completely ineligible to be selected into the Wu Temple.

Some people will say that Lu Bu is superior in force and refuses to obey anyone. Well ... the fact that Lyu3 bu4 is invincible should only be imagined by Luo Guanzhong, and even in novels, Lyu3 bu4 can't be said to be truly invincible. At least Zhang Fei and he fought one-on-one twice and tied. A closer look at the original text reveals that Lu Bu is actually a little afraid of Zhang Fei.

And throughout the history of our country, few generals will directly fight with the other generals. Fighting is not fighting. Isn't it nonsense for the general to fight alone? In ancient wars, the coordination of the three armed forces was emphasized, and it was not advisable to fight alone with individual heroism, so the generals were all concerned with the overall situation.

However, there are exceptions. Lyu3 bu4 did have a one-on-one hit record, and his opponent Dong Zhuo's old subordinate Guo Si was not even a third-rate warrior. Lu Bu did win this one-on-one fight, but he failed to kill the other side, so there is nothing to brag about.
