Luo Yang is the son of a doctor in the Third Military Medical University. Luo Yang grew up in a military compound, and his parents both worked in the Third Military Medical University. In the college entrance examination, Luo Yang got excellent grades and could be admitted to Tsinghua, but he insisted on applying to Beihang University, Northwestern Polytechnical University and Nanjing Aviation Institute.
