Yuan Weimin is the first head coach of China Women's Volleyball Team and the only head coach who has participated in the Olympic Games as an athlete. 1978, he succeeded Japanese Yasuhiro Matsuhei as the head coach of China women's volleyball team, which opened the road to the rise of China women's volleyball team. Under his leadership, China women's volleyball team won the World Cup, the World Championships and the Olympic Games with 198 1, 1982 and 1984 successively, achieving a historic "three consecutive championships".
2. Zhang
Zhang is the second head coach of China Women's Volleyball Team and the first head coach to win the Olympic champion as captain. She retired after leading China women's volleyball team to the top of the Olympic Games for the first time at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games, and succeeded Deng Ruoceng as the head coach of China women's volleyball team more than a year later.
3. Chen Zhonghe
Chen Zhonghe is the sixth head coach of China Women's Volleyball Team and the first head coach born in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, where China Women's Volleyball Team rose. He started as the substitute coach and assistant coach of China women's volleyball team at the age of 22, and didn't officially become the head coach until 200 1. He won the trust and support of the players with his low-key, humble and pragmatic style. In 2003, he led the China Women's Volleyball Team to win the World Cup, ending the history of China Women's Volleyball Team 17 without a championship.
