Song Wu, who had always regarded his brother as his father, was heartbroken and indignant and determined to find out the truth for his brother.

But the government took care of each other to protect Ximen Qing, so Song Wu called his neighbors. Pan Jinlian and Wang Po confessed one by one because they were afraid of Song Wu. Song Wu took Pan Jinlian, an adulteress, to his brother's spirit and cut off Pan Jinlian's head. He went to Lion Building to fight Ximen Qing, and finally killed Ximen Qing in the lion downstairs, and worshipped Wu Dalang with Pan Jinlian's and Ximen Qing's heads.
