Tang Gaozu 1

Li Yuan (June 25, 566-635), born in the season of Longxi, was the founding emperor of the Tang Dynasty. Li Yuan was born in a noble family in the Northern Zhou Dynasty. At the age of seven, he attacked Tang Guogong. After Yang Di ascended the throne, Li Yuan was appointed as the magistrate of Xingyang (now Zhengzhou, Henan Province) and Loufan (now Jingle, Shanxi Province). Later, he was called the little supervisor of the temple and was promoted to Wei Wei and Shao Qing. In the 11th year of Daye (6 15), Li Yuanguan paid homage to Ambassador Hedong in Shanxi. In the 13th year of Daye (6 17), the official worshipped Taiyuan and stayed behind.

When the world was in chaos at the end of Sui Dynasty, Li Yuan rose from Taiyuan and captured Chang 'an. In the second year of Yining (6 18), in May of the lunar calendar, Li Yuan accepted the abdication of Emperor Sui Gong, established the Tang Dynasty, made Chang 'an his capital, gradually eliminated the separatist forces in various places and ruled the whole country.

2. Emperor Taizong

Li Shimin (599 -649) reigned for 23 years, with the title of Zhenguan. The name means "to help the world and the people", and Longxi became a person. Li Shimin is not only a famous politician and strategist, but also a calligrapher and poet.

3. Tang Gaozong

Li Zhi (628-683), with a good word, was the ninth son of Li Shimin of Emperor Taizong, and his mother was the third son of his eldest grandson. In the fifth year of Zhenguan (63 1), he was named King of Jin. Later, Li Chenggan, the eldest son of Emperor Taizong, and Wang Tai, the second son, were successively abolished, and in the seventeenth year of Zhenguan (643), they were canonized as Crown Prince.

In the 23rd year of Zhenguan (649), it was located in the Tai Chi Hall in Chang 'an, which initiated the rule of the eternal emblem with the legacy of Zhenguan. The territory of the Tang Dynasty was the largest during the reign of Emperor Gaozong, starting from the Korean Peninsula in the east, bordering the Aral Sea (Caspian Sea) in the west, reaching Lake Baikal in the north and Mount Heng in Vietnam in the south, which lasted for 32 years. In the thirty-fourth year of Li Zhi, he died in the first year of Hongdao (683). At the age of 55, he was buried in Ganling (Liangshan, northwest of Ganxian County, Shaanxi Province), with the temple name Gaozong, the emperor of posthumous title.

4. Tang Zhongzong

Li Xian (656 -7 10), formerly known as Li Zhe, was the fourth emperor of the Tang Dynasty in China, the seventh son of Li Zhi in Tang Gaozong and the third son of Wu Zetian. He was in office from 65438+684 10 to February 27, 684, and from 705 to 7 10. After Prince Li Xian of Zhang Huai was abolished, he was made Crown Prince. In the first year of Hongdao (683), the emperor ascended the throne, and Empress Wu Zetian was called the imperial court.

5. Tang Ruizong

Li Dan (June 22-7, 6621July 6 13), also known as Li Xulun, the eighth son of Tang Gaozong Li Zhi, the youngest son of Wu Zetian, was his brother Tang Zhongzong. Formerly known as the King of Yin Ruins, he is also the prefect of Jizhou. He ascended the throne twice in his life and abdicated to the world three times. From the first year of civilization to the second year of his reign (684-690), from the first year of Jing Yun to the first year of Yanhe (765,438+00 to 765,438+02), he reigned for eight years.

6. Wu Zetian

Wu Zetian (AD 624-AD 705) was born in Wu Zhao, Wenshui (now East of Wenshui County, Shaanxi Province). The only orthodox female emperor in the history of China is also one of the oldest (67 years old) and longest-lived (82 years old) emperors.

7. Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty

Li Longji (September 8, 685-May 3, 762) was born in Luoyang, the capital of God, in 685, and reigned from July/Kloc-0 to February-756. The longest-serving emperor in the Tang Dynasty, Tang Ruizong's third son, mother Dou Defai. Because posthumous title is "Great Sage, Daming and Filial Piety", the temple name "Xuanzong" is also called Emperor Taizong.

8. Tang Suzong

Hengli (7 1 1 -762), whose real names were Li Sisheng and Gui Li, was the third son of Li Longji, the seventh emperor of the Tang Dynasty (not counting Wu Zetian and Shang Emperor Li Zhongmao), and his reign lasted from 756 to 762. In the 14th year of Tianbao (755), An Shi Rebellion broke out. The following year, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty fled to Sichuan, and Hengli was stationed in Lingwu.

9. Tang Daizong

Li Yu (727-779), Han nationality, the eldest son of Tang Suzong. At the beginning, he was named King Guangping, and later he was renamed King Chu and became King Chu. After the change of Ma Su, with Su Zong going north, he was appointed as the "Grand Commander of Military Forces" to command the generals to recover the two capitals. In 758 AD, he was appointed as the Crown Prince, and in 763, he put down the Anshi Rebellion. After the Anshi Rebellion, Datang began to decline.

Tang Dezong 10

Kuà (May 27, 742-February 25, 805), the eldest son of Tang Daizong, reigned for 26 years and lived to the age of 64. In the early days of his reign, he insisted on appointing civil and military officials and prohibited eunuchs from interfering in politics, which was quite revived. However, after the change of Jingyuan, the successive dishonor of civilian military commanders was in sharp contrast with the loyal escort of eunuch group, which made Dezong give up his previous ideas.
